Upcoming Elections
The Primary Election will be held March 17, 2026 and the General Election will be held November 3, 2026. Petitions for established party candidates can be picked up and begin circulating August 5, 2025. Packets may be picked up in the Greene County Clerks office Monday – Friday from 8AM to 4PM. Petitions may be filed in the County Clerk’s office during the period from 8:00AM to 4:00PM on October 27, 2025 through November 3, 2025. Petitions may be turned in until 5:00PM on November 3, 2025.
Petitions for Independent candidates can be picked up and begin circulating February 25, 2026. Packets may be picked up in the Greene County Clerks office Monday – Friday from 8AM to 4PM. Petitions may be filed in the County Clerk’s office during the period from 8:00AM to 4:00PM on May 18, 2026 through May 26, 2026. Petitions may be turned in until 5:00PM on May 26, 2026.

Voter Registration
To vote in Greene County elections, you must be a registered voter. Make sure you meet the eligibility requirements and complete your registration in time to participate. To register, simply click the link below or visit our voter registration office at the Greene County Courthouse.
What you need to register:
- A valid driver’s license or state ID.
- Two pieces of mail showing your name and current address.
