The Treasurer’s Office is responsible for safeguarding, maintaining, distributing, and investing County funds. Our commitment is to provide excellence in public service. The Greene County Treasurer’s office exists simply as a resource which enables the public to benefit from the tax dollars they are required to pay.

Goals of the Treasurer’s Office:

  • Maintain professional courtesy, integrity, and diligence.
  • Provide accountability, efficiency, and transparency.
  • Ensure that all Greene County money is secure, invested with maximum rate of return, and liquidated as needed.

Real Estate Taxes:

The office of the County Treasurer is responsible for the mailing and collection of both real estate and mobile home tax bills.

  • Real Estate Tax and Mobile Home Tax due dates differ from year to year.
  • Real Estate taxes are always a year behind when billed. Mobile home taxes are the current year.
